Quentin Willson Endorsement

June 15

Quentin Willson, who has been evaluating a DPT unit on one of his private vehicles a 2.7 Jaguar XJ, provided a glowing report on DPT and its technology in his Sunday Mirror column on 15th June 2008.

Quentin Says: If you've got a diesel motor, you'll be hurting at £1.30 a litre, but I can offer a crumb of comfort.

I've just put a plug-in diesel performance unit into my Jag XJ oil-burner, and seen a significant increase in power and flexibility.

The bit you need to know is that it added another five miles to every gallon.

I've been tooling around with it for the last 3,000 miles, and regularly saw 650 miles a tankful.

It took me 10 minutes to fit and just plugs into the wiring loom. At around £300 they used to look expensive, but with the rocketing price of derv it won't be long before you've handsomely repaid your investment.

Caravan Show Success

May 8

One of our DPT dealers had amazing success at the recent Caravan & Motorhome show hosted at the Kent Showground over the early May Bank Holiday weekend.

John Hewart of All Kit Auto Parts hosted a stand at the show where he showcased DPT to his local Caravan and Motorhome market. “The show has been a real success,” said John “everybody we spoke to was excited about the product, not only because of the additional power it can provide but also because of the significant fuel saving benefits of this revolutionary product”. Sales of over 30 units have been generated from the show with orders still arriving on a regular basis.

John spent a lot of his time explaining the technology to visitors. “It is very helpful that Randstad who control DPT in the UK have put in place many helpful arrangements, such as Insurance and Warranty information so buyers can purchase with confidence”.

“I would recommend all DPT installer in the UK to identify their own local shows and reserve a stand, also aim to get out and visit local caravan parks, this sector of the market is key to my plans for DPT and one I aim to work hard within”.

Phillip Dowd, DPT sales director, was at hand to help John and to learn from the experience for the benefit of other installers. “This show clearly demonstrates the potential of DPT within this sector, both those who tow and Motorhome users have a lot to gain from DPT over and above the fuel savings available to all diesel drivers. The power gains are significant and can make a serious difference to the driving experience”. We will be encouraging all DPT installers to do as John recommends and develop communication with their local Caravan & Motorhome community”.

DPT Fleet Deal Agreed

April 24

In April 2008 Titan Travel agreed to have DPT fitted to their fleet of 160 VW 2.5L T5 minibuses. Richard Baxter the Transport Operations Manager of Tital Travel made this decision after extensive trials to evaluate the product and it's impact upon his fleet.

Our installer Andrew Moorey from Tune-Up West Sussex worked hard with Richard and Essing Dieseltuning our Ducth partners to find a solution which best suited Titan's objectives.

DPT is targeted to make an 8% saving on Titan Travel's annual diesel fuel bill and of course an 8% reduction in the CO2 emissions of the vehicles.

Quentin Willson - Sunday Mirror

April 20

Quentin Willson the well respected and knowledgeable motoring broadcaster and britains No 1 motoring writer included the following in his regular feature in the Sunday Mirror on 20th April 2008.

David O'Hare has a BMW X5 3.0d, but is disappointed that he's only getting around 30mpg. He saw my recent ITV programme Fuel's Gold, and is following the advice about driving gently and regular servicing. David does around 20,000 miles a year, so economy is very important to him. Is there anything else he can do to get better mpg?

Quentin Says: There's an easy-to-fit piece of kit that can boost your mpg by up to 16 per cent.

A DPT Tuning Box Module will cost around £300 for your X5, but as you do lots of miles, it'll pay for itself quite quickly and improve performance.

The module is a specially-programmed plug-in device that takes about 20 minutes to fit, and you can do it yourself.

I'm so impressed that I'm going to try it out on my diesel Jag and Range Rover.
